We are excited to invite you to our 5th Annual Spring Into Action Breakfast on May 12th at 7:30 AM. This year’s program will feature a student panel, with representation from each of the 5 districts we serve, facilitated by CIS Alumnus and National President and CEO, Rey Saldaña. We are thrilled for the opportunity to come together, in-person, at the Three Rivers Convention Center to celebrate the accomplishments of our youth.
The past two years have been incredibly difficult for the thousands of students and families we serve. The pandemic has exacerbated the many challenges our students face from social emotional distress and food and housing insecurity to academic disengagement and lack of access to technology. Despite these and other barriers, we know every youth we serve has the capacity to write their own success story. Our mission is to surround students in a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. Working in partnership with school district staff, community partners, business leaders and individual community members we have a unique opportunity to make strategic investments in our youth that allow dreams to become reality.
We hope you will join us Thursday, May 12th to learn more and make a gift that can change a young person’s life. Every $1.00 donated to CISBF supports local youth and provides $11.60 of economic benefit for the community.
