A time I needed support was when I was struggling again with my coping skills. After my junior year, I started struggling with my coping skills really bad. Over the summer, I found myself falling into unhealthy habits, and I didn’t know how to get out of that cycle. I felt overwhelmed, lost, and like I didn't have anyone. I didn’t feel like I had a safe space to really talk about it. But as soon as we got back to school, I talked to Ms. Tiara and let her know what was happening. She listened to me without judging me and reminded me that I wasn’t alone. Just having someone care enough to hear me made such a difference. "Ms. Tiara helped me come up with weekly, small, but realistic goals to improve my coping skills. She never pressured me, she just encouraged me and reminded me that progress takes time. She would check in with me regularly to see how I was doing, and those check-ins meant a lot. They made me feel supported and reminded me that someone was there for me even on the hard days. With her help, I started slowly building better habits and staying away from the bad ones. I learned that it’s okay to ask for help, and that having support doesn’t make you weak, it makes you stronger. I’m still working on myself, but I’ve come a long way thanks to her guidance and care. Ms. Tiara’s support made a lasting impact on me, and I’m genuinely so grateful for everything she did for me."
