Last month, Governor Jay Inslee signed a proclamation that identifies January 2021 as National Mentoring Month by the State of Washington.
In the historic proclamation, Communities in Schools of Washington is specifically listed as an entity valuable to providing such resources to children.
“…Mentoring Month is an opportunity to unite the residents of Washington to empower our students, raise public awareness of the importance of mentoring, recognize those who have impacted youth across the state, and build a brighter future for Washington’s children through mentoring;”
